yes it is worth it because it hits twice as fast as a dragon 2 hander. If you use it in combination with a poison dragon daggers poison you will kill even faster.

the d2h is considered a slow but heavy weapon, where as the whip is considered a fast but light weapon. no you may not hit quite as much for you max hit, but it will kill monsters faster. and as your str increases, your max hit will increase too, i can hit 33 with whip (str 94). if you are happy to use a slower weapon, and you aren't overly happy with your whip, sell it and get your d2h back :)

Whips are way faster then d2h, whip hit 2 times and d2h only once, so you gain more xp faster.

its also a lot more accurate than a d2h, i hit like 15-22 normal without special or anything (70 att 70 str) and its very fast, so i like it

The reason that you could only hit 20 is because a whip doesn't have strength bonuses. It all depends on your strength level, and the weapon's bonuses. The whip is worth it for training attack and defense, but as for strength, it's not worth it. I train my strength with a scimmy and Veracs.

You forget that the whip is a small and light wepons. OBviusly it not gonna hit that had as a big heavy wpon like the d2h.THough the whip is faster than a d2h so better for pking. If you like power better than speed get your 2h back or buy a dbaxe.
