why God creates apple during ADAM and EVE time?

why does God needed to create apple when it is no-no to eat during the time of ADAM and EVE according to Bible, and why is it no-no to eat when it is the fruit of knowledge. Why?

Although knowledge is power, in that time I think they ment that the apple held truth, the real truth about life, the real truth about everything that surrounds life, this includes the evil in life, the trouble in life all things we experience. To me that is what the apple was. Not just good knowledge but also bad knowledge.
