Is an LCD monitor better for your eyes than a CRT?

Yes.In a day 10 to 20 hours i will in front o the computer.So the radiation problem of the CRT will affect me if i use it.When we use CRT to decrease radiation we should reduce intensity and color.then no good for gaming.So i prefer LCD.Now TFT is better

Hello,glra2222,I think it is not really better for you eyes when you are usin LCD monitor,it looks nice and elegant, but in fact the radiations emit from the LCD is much stronger than CRT which may not be good for your eyes.
Anyway ,no matter which monitors you are using, it may be better to take a rest of you have been in front of the computer for long time.

I think that LCD monitors do less harm to the eyes. Perhaps the reason your eyes feel tired is because of the amount of time you spend in front of the computer. When I find that I'm in front of any computer for too long, my eyes start to hurt. I especially don't like to use the computer in the dark. LCD monitors may do less harm, but as with monitor, too much time spent in front of it can mess up your eyes.
