what is the color of the dress you are in wedding?

In china, we prefer to wear red dress in weddding .
but it is only the traditional Chinese custom, now more and more Chinese youth wear white wedding dress in wedding .
And at this kind of special day, what is the color of the dress you will in?
if it is the color in your traditional custom?
or just like all west country?

I will wear white wedding dress and red Chinese dress if i can choose both!Red is the traditional color in china,it is the symbol of pleasant and happyness;white means chaste and noble, is the symbol of faithful love.
but it is a special day,maybe any color will be beautiful for the bride.

My cousin Kelly just married a man from China. Kelly is Canadian and her nuew husband is Chinese. She wore two dresses, a red Chinese dress, and a white North American dress.
When I get married I plan to wear red, because it is my favourite colour. I will pick a design I like, and have the dress made by a friend of mine. The Bridesmaids will wear dark blue.

It's more or less the same here in India too.The traditional colour for a bride in northern parts is red and in a few states its green or other auspicious colour.
But nowadays here too people are opting for different colours,mainly subtle ones for bridal wear and grooms following suit,trying out almost all colours for their wedding.

In Bali, people wear a colorfull dres in a traditional Balinese. The bride will wear a gold flower and plenty of flowers in their head. The outfits is decorated with gold painting called "Prada". It is so beautiful and took hours to prepare.. not to mentioned it is not too comfortable too..
