Just got back from Vegas - had a chance to see Spamalot, the Monty Python-adapted show. The theatre is great and the sets are clever and very effective. The guy who played Elaine's boss on Seinfeld is the King Arthur character and he does a great job. The show roughly follows the movie with most of the major bits still intact although the end is original. You don't get all of the great accents of the original troup which just seemed to make it funnier, especially John Cleese as the rude Frenchman atop the castle blowing raspberries at the king and his knights but it has the same zany and off-color antics as the original. They also added the song from the "Life of Brian" movie: Always Look On The Bright Side of Life. And it is a Great addition. Anyone else out there see it yet? Like? Dislike?
