i try to give ratings on responses especially if i see one that stands out alittle more than others, yes i have given a few negative but only because they weren't replying right to the topic. or if the topic asks for advice or opinions shared due to experience some people will write on that discussion "I have never done that so I can't say" that bothers me because why respond unless you have something to say?
i give mainly positive ratings though all to the people who deserve them!! :)

I like to go through an read each response I get on the discussion that I have started. For the most part I give out a positive rating. I figure as long as they respond to the topic I started the discussion about they deserve to get a positive rating. However there are a few people who will type a bunch of letters in such a way that no words are made. I have given that type a person a negative rating. It has only happened a couple of times though.

From time to time i do read responses in my discussions and do rate them. Most of the times i do give a positive rating for contributing to discussions and for their efforts which i appreciate. Only if someone response is irrelevant or makes no sense or they spam may i give negative response but that is very rare. I feel one should post good quality content relevant to discussion posted that will sure get positive rating from fellow mylotians. Cheers:)
