what can you say about my primary picture?

hello everybody! just thought someone could evaluate my primary picture ( a boy in an orange shirt trying to catch a grasshopper.) this picture is part of my story book for children. i still havent done the finishing touches yet but the idea of the story revolves around a boy who likes to catch insects and do naughty things with them. i did all of the illustrations with poster paint and markers with some sequins for a 2D effect. any comments or suggestions?
