does this phrase sound familiar to you? but yes.. it is indeed very familiar to me.. my grandpa always tell me this.. he say this is some sort of life concept.. when you dislike others doing it to you.. don't do it onto others.. it's also the cause and effect..when you treat others bad.. others will do the same to you.. it's the same when you try to backstab others.. without you realizing it.. you'll get backstab as well.. this happen mostly in college and workplace.. so.. i decided to put it into a discussion.. do you agree with the phrase? why?

I agree, definitely. That's the Golden Rule, and phrased positively, "Do unto others what you would like others do unto you". If this is everybody's life philosophy, then the world would be a better place to live, there will be no more crimes, abuse, hatred, backbiting, etc. Respect begets respect, or if you smile at someone, he will smile back at you. If you treat someone badly, that person will get back at you. Love in order to be loved.. .You cannot give what you don't have. . I hope people take this rule seriously in their relationship with others.

erm.. it's true.. i think it works in relationship.. even though it doesn't seem to work at times.. but i think if you're patient enough.. you will see that the phrase is no wrong.. it does work.. just need some time to see the effect of it..

Oh yes this saying is very well known, yes I have always believed in this myself and that is one of the main reasons I try my best to be nice to others. Why I believe in this is because this is what happens as there is such a thing as Karma and when you do thing nasty to other people then it will turn around it may not be tomorrrow but it certainly will come back to you and then you must remember what you did to others.
