Dear friends did you or know someone who has come to USA on h1-b visa, b1-visa I mean a non-iimigrant for studies or temorary assigment or a contract software job, then you have gone through the nightmares of living in a apartment especially in California. Though the residential real estate prices are going down, the apartment rents are skyrocketing. From the highschool times or the downtown motels $ 500 to $ 1000 now they are reaching to $ 2000 per month. I think sometimes should I go back to my home land India back as was this the America of my dream. The only option then is share the unit with some unknown roommates and adjust with them more than I do with the guys siiting at the cubicals around and my boosses around. There is no mental peace, Some of my friends nowadays prefer to live in Motels and Hotel suites paying a little more. I suppose the homeless bros who sometimes I meet at Church are better than me. And above rent there are bigger monsters, bills of utilities, electricity, internet, cable TV and don't pay them or forgot them, they will invade your credit score and then you like a defeated soldier with agony and pain will be sitting on the lost battle field with other credit and debt injured buddies. Why on hell they don't consider my timely payment of my one fat part of paycheck as rent as an arsenal for victories in my credit history. Lets pray bothers all together. Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Please come and get my apartment rents and roommates done, no problem if you don't give me the daily bread, but forgive my debts and lead me not into temptations of living in furnished apartment home, for apartments are here forever, amen.
