3 or 4 hours of sleep! Doing that might save time, but I don't think most people could operate very effectively that way. I have tried to get by with less sleep, many times, but I always felt tired and irritable, and would have to take a nap at work just to get me through the day. So now I make it a rule to get at least 6 hours of sleep, no matter what, and most nights I get 7 or 8. So these days I feel refreshed and energetic, and I get a lot more done.

i have noticed, too, that we can do better at work if we have sufficient sleep the night before. our brain functions well and our bodies feel great. i'd rather sleep well each night than get rich if sleep will have to be sacrificed for it.

i don't believe that it will be a good idea to deprive ourselves of good rest. the body needs to rest in order to replenish itself with the strength and vigor it needs to be able to cope with the daily tasks that it has to go through. i am suffering from insomnia and if i get to have 8 hours or more of sleep in a day, i feel great.

So you are promoting sleeping less. I thought sleep is important. Number of hours of sleep actually depends on the age of a person. That's what I read in a medical book.
