I'm headed to church here shortly - I've haven't been in several weeks because of being sick and have really missed spending that special time with Jesus and my wonderful friends there. I'm not feeling real well today but I need a good fix of time with Jesus.

Oh, thank you so very much for the BR. I must admit I'm still not feeling well, horrid sore throat, and really was not feeling like going to church but as always I was so very blessed.
I plan to share the sermon in a discussion in a day or so but briefly - evanglism and the importance of our actions, others see us before we speak a word. Often if our actions don't reflect God's love and devotion we will not get a chance to speak.
Ended the service by lighting candles throughout the sanctuary and singing "This Little Light of Mine" - very fitting. I'm sharing here a picture I took from the back parking lot of the church, Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church. This is not the main steeple but if you look close you can see the apple tree blooming on the front side of the car port (note the van in the picture is the one used to transport elderly from nearby assisted living homes).

I'm going to think about Jesus and religion today. However I'm not Christian so I don't have a special relationship with Jesus. The stories about him in the Bible are though great and something we can all learn from, no matter if we believe in him or not. Just be good and do what is right and you'll please Jesus or whatever God you follow.

I went to church and worshipped Jesus. Listened to a great sermom from the Bible, sang (or tried to!) some hymns and praise songs and then fellowshipped with my church family. Although I can read my Bible, pray and have a relationship with Jesus any where, any time, it is so important to have a church home where you can continue to learn and grow in your faith.
Oh I also went back to church at 5 pm for a meeting about our VBS. It looks like it will be a great one this year as always!
