That little man is so cute that even in the shock of the rude awakening, you can't do much but chuckle and pet him. I had that too Mel, but the first night, he wasn't shown where I was sleeping and I think he thought I'd gone home.
I went to bed, and put things on and under the bedside table, and Gissi was barking for ages. I think he thought Gabs had an intruder. lol. He was ok after he saw me the next morning, and we showed him where I was sleeping. Gabs brought him to the door to say goodnight. He's a cute little feller alright!
Brightest Blessings and thanks for bringing those memories back to me. lol.

This seems to be a bit of a party piece of his , he loves to get people up and then when they are fully awake he goes back to sleep , I thought you would have tired him out with his walk all the way round the field , It sounds like you were the one who was tired out lol xx

Oh dear Gizzi, always seems to love to wake your Mum or you up Mel, and then decide that it is his time to get some of the comforts that you both are having to see what it feels like lol!! I bet that Gizzi is not happy about you not allowing him to have some of the luxuries that us human beings have xx

Darkwing had that experience too. At least he'd be like a hot water bottle in bed with you.
Gissi is a FUN dog. His mum has taught him to be a fun dog, so a fun dog he will be - and you will have to learn to accept that.
What you could try, is to sit him down and teach him the golden rule. He can't do to you what he doesn't want you to do to him. Gissi is a very intelligent dog, so he COULD understand. The problem is that he wouldn't WANT to understand. He is a fun dog!
