The election day is fast coming...

May 14 is fast coming as it is only 2 weeks before we will finally have the chance to vote who will sit in the Senate, lower Congress and other local officials. As we are nearing the fateful day, election-related violence is escalating as expected and accusations and counter-accusation from both camps are likewise nearing the saturation point.
I just pray that whatever the results of the election, we could have an honest and orderly election. What I mean by hones is: follow what is truly written in the officials ballots (does not matter how the voters are lead to write those names as long as no force is used).

I also hope for that. No one has to die. So sad ,that worse things happens during campaigs and during election.
It is really up to us on how the elections will do. I hope that people will be wise enough. Be unselfish, that we must think what will be good for our country and not only for ourselves.

You're right. There's no better way to start politics right other than to be peaceful at election/voting day. I also hope and pray that politicians would realize the effects of violence on the innocent ones, and that there is no good that comes out of it. I have noticed your concerns about Philippine politics. I am a Filipino myself and even if I'm in the US, I'm following this closely. My father used to be a politician himself there, but he decided to give it up because of corruption. I think everywhere we go, there is always a problem with politics, but it's best to solve our political problems right where our hearts belong to, which is to our own country. Happy myLotting!
