What do you expect of a friend ?

I have been disapointedf by friends time and again . Perhaps I may have been expecting way too much of them .
What do you expect a friend to do for you .
IN other words how would you define a friend ?

Honesty,trustworthiness,helpfulness,lovingness .. these are a few qualities that I earnestly desire from a friend to be.

I would like to go my way of explaining. See, I have been created by the nature and essentially supported, sustianed by it. So the whole universde is made to support my life. It is primerialy meant to make me happy. It just canot be otherway wrong. Therefore, I have all my friends only to make me happy.

to help you in need is expected out of a friend for sure. He/she should help you whenver you ahve a bare need for that.
