Do you admit to being jealous? Ever?

I see that for a great many of us, admitting to being a jealous person is a complete no-no, even if we know that we do indulge in jealousy at some point or the other. I often feel jealous about the successes of people who are less talented than me or those who I feel don't deserve their success. Have you been jealous of anyone, ever? For what? Out with the truth!

Hey Wiz, you almost gave me a heart attack there!!!!! Not only are you not a saint, but you just have accumulated the sin of almost inducing a heart attack to an innocent soul!!!!!! lol!
But it is nice to see that we seem to think on similar lines. Great minds think alike, huh? :D

ok ill fess up, i have the odd bouts of jealousy when my husband flirts with another woman or my girl friend cant find timde for me but can for her other friends. I dont resent anyones posessions nor their sucess as i believe this is random only. However i feel a little jealousy within a relationship is healthy

Yes, I do have to confess to feeling a tinge of jealousy from time to time, but I soon get over it in happiness for the person I'm jealous of. I never get insanely jealous but sometimes, when I have longed for something and somebody else has it, I can't help myself.
I'm the same as you, Eskarena... the jealousy is more in relationships than material possessions.

Well, by nature, I'm not a very jealous person, I usually never get jealous, and if I do, it's only for small things and I'm usually very forward about it. A few months back, two of my friends started working together and I was a little jealous as I also wanted to be able to do that, but I actually told them this, that I'm so jealous that you guys are working together, I wish I could too.
Another one is where a friend of mine has an xbox 360 and he's playing an awesome game that I so wanna play too, and I told him I'm so jealous of you, he's not in the same country so we can't play together.
But I don't think this is the bad kind of jealousy, since I don't feel any of the negativity of it. At all. It's more like being envious, but I've never wished anything bad on anyone, and never been jealous of anyone's success, I think that is harmful for yourself.
Jealousy, the green monster, can eat you up from inside, it won't do any harm to the person you are jealous of, only to you yourself.

Hello,complexvanilla,honestly,i do not like to be jealous of other people,I am happy as who I am, I do not need to envy about others and catchup with them, I have something they do no have and they have other things i do not have,I do not like to compare with other people.

Hey, that's great. I'm proud to have such a friend as you! While I don't always feel envious about others, I do feel sort of angry at people who take up positions get facilities while other more deserving ones don't get a look in, not necessarily myself. Thanks for sharing!

I'm with you. Being a jealous person is doing no good to us.
And I like to appreciate people around me who are really good.
