Ginger Loves the Toilet

My 9 year old calico is fascinated with the toilet. Everytime Ginger hears the toilet flush, she runs to the bathroom as fast as she can in hopes of watching the water go down. The funny part is that I love helping her with this. I will call her when I am going to flush the toilet so she doesn't miss anything. Do any of your cats like the toilet??

Our cat does mainly because she loves any type of water. As soon as she hears the water turn on in the sink or tub she is right there playing in it. We have to keep the toilet lid shut all the time because if we don't she will get inside and start playing in the water.

That is so funny! I have never heard of this, but I guess it makes sense that they would. Maybe you can train her to use it instead of the litter box. :o)

That is so cute, I sometimes watch my little cat Stumpy and wonder what goes on in that little head, cats are very fascinating little things, and I think they are a lot cleverer than we give them credit for...I love my little stumpy..

I was forwarded an e-mail chain about a couple whos water bill was very very high every month and they coudln't figure out why, and they figured it out one day when the husband stays home sick. You watch the video that is attached and it turns out their cat was flushing the toilet all day so it could watch the water go down.
