What Brand PC are you using & why is it your preference???

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite Lap Top. Duel Core Processor,80GB, 2GB of memory, DVD/CD-RW. Windows XP, not Vista:-)

my computer, which i am using right now is a non brtanded i chosed non branded because it is cheaper and you choose custom configuration

im using DELL, dual core processor, 200gb sata HD, 2gb ram with Windows XP + service pack 3. i tried using compaq and other brand of pc but dell proves to be the best of them. dell also have the best customer support and upgrading is not that difficult when you have dell.
i think vista is not very stable right now and theres a software and hardware compatibility issue, so i'll just wait for the right time to upgrade my OS.

i am using assembled pc ,because as there is no choice in branded comp.my config is intel p4,512ram,
dvd writer.

I have a HP media cent and it has everything you outlined and I like HP have always even at work they had HP or Compaq who are the same company. Used a gateway years ago, I tend to stick with what works.
