Ok - not long to go - hopefully it is going ahead this time!

It's almost that time again - I am due in hospital at 6.30 am tomorrow for my back surgery and this time it WILL go ahead or I will have the most monumental tantrum anyone has ever seen! lol I am going in to work in a little while to take my mind off things, then taking the kids to grandma's for the night and making sure that I have everything I need packed in my bag! Have to make sure I eat loads of rubbish as well cos I am not allowed to eat or drink after midnight! As soon as I have done everything that I need to I will be checking in to see what is going on with all of my friends here on mylot! You know you guys have helped me through a really difficult time and have no idea how much I appreciate having you all in my life! I will miss you all so much ans hope to be home for the weekend (if everything goes perfectly well!) and will talk to you all when I get back and try to catch up with all of your discussions then! Thank you all for being there and supporting and encouraging me! See you soon! xxx

Honey I know that all will go on as scheduled and it will go well and soon you will be back with us in wonderful shape...You will be probably take uo jogging ...lol..You might be able to use your wireless laptop in the hospital..You can ask..Then you could update us daily on your progress..
Be sure to get lots of rest while you are in..You have to have our Fishwife give us reports on you..And for God's sake behave while you are there..if they say rest..you rest..if they say walk ..you walk..We want you back quickly so behave so you can come back soon..I'll miss ya and worry about ya...Love Mom xoxoxoxo

I have just spoken to your darling on the phone , In-case I don't catch you later . Take care sweetheart and let me know how things are going and remember when you are fit enough you and me have 2 exercise bikes upstairs here just waiting for you and me to get fit together lol. when can pedal like hell and see who can get to hubby's pub first xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hon, Yes it is not too long at all for you now to go into hospital oh ok tomorrow morning that is great news then, oh dear I pray that everything will work out this time and that you do not have to have a tantrum lol!! Yes I do hope that you will recover quickly and that you shall be back here on mylot with your friends that shall be waiting patiently for your return if I do not hear from you in a couple of days I will contact Weemam, who I am sure will let me know how you are going sweetie xx

Good Luck Mummymo. I hope everything goes well for you. If it is a laminectomy you are going for just remember no heavy lifting afterwards. Take a few books or something to keep you from getting bored. I will send you healing thoughts for after the op. Take care of yourself.

Thank you shoelover - I am going for a dicectomy and decomression and tthen getting new, artificial discs fitted! I can't do any lifting just now - well I can just about manage to lift the laptop lol I have a couple of books in my bag! Thanks for the advice and the healing thoughts! xx

I didn't see this discussion so I put another message on your "Second time lucky" discussion.
Basically, I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I am so looking forward to hearing from you when you are all doped up on morphine.
Take care, sweetie. Have a good rest in the hospital and tell those nurses that you are a precious cargo and they had better take fantastic care of you or I will be flying over there to deal with them...and I walk tall with a mighty cane!

You are absolutely entitled to the most monumental tantrum if things don´t run smoothly this time, lol. I don´t think that this will happen again though. And don´t worry, everything is going to be fine and you´ll be soon back home. I´m already looking forward to seeing you back here again.
