The war within Islam!

Chiang_Mai_Boy, Thanks for the post and the information. I agree that Islam does not represent any kind of civilization worthy of respect. It is true that Islam has a slight chance to evolve into a real religion, but I doubt it. It is likely the fundamentalist Muslims would kill any reformers as apostates or blasphemers. We can pray for God to help Islam because it is apparent the Muslims are not going to do much to help themselves.

I agree with you to certain extant only. There are differences between different sects of Islam. And sometimes these differences get to violant level too. But let me assure you. You should not try judging the religion with thepresent situation in Iraq or Iran.The US has been very cleverlyusing and intensifying these differences to achieve their political goals. Oh come on. Just to show how ridiculous your statement is then I'm going to make the following ridiculous statement that would hold absolutely true if I used the same logic as you: "How can anyone respect the USA, they had slaves and they had a civil war!" There will always be bad people around that try to exploit peoples misery and pin people against each other. What we need to do is to help them. Help them by building up a safe environment, help them get a political system that the public actually believes in and help them by setting up the infrastructure we bombed down.
