When your dog die, how long will you consider to have another one?

I had a nice sharpie dog called Duo Duo. Three years ago he passed away because he was old and ill. I was so sad at that time. We had many good time together. After that, I have no plans to have another dog. As I found that the responsibility is very important. If I had another dog, I had to share time with him. Feeding is not the most important, and you shall give your love, too. I will always miss Duo Duo.

I think it depends on the person, I would like have a new dog very soon, but some people would feel bad. I miss a dog that I had when I was child so much too.

I currently have three dogs in my home. Two belong to my girlfriend actually and one is mine. My dog is getting up there in years so she got another dog a few months ago because we are not sure how much longer my dog will be here. We didn't want my dog passing away and making her dog feel lonely so we went ahead and got another one now.
I think that it depends on the persom as to when they get another dog after one has passed away. You must feel like you are ready to have another one. There is no set time limit.
