Do you wear branded cosmetics, or just generic cosmetics?

I wear both... I believe that some stuff doesn't need to be branded... For example, my eye make-up remover or mascara doesn't really need to be Lancome or Clinique.. =) Neutrogena is good enough to do the job... But I do also believe that some branded products have better quality and ingredients than generic ones.. In that sense, for example, for lipsticks, I tend to wear the branded ones.. =)
What do you think, ladies? =)

I happened to use branded cosmetic and parfume. For my lipstick, powder and blusher...I use alot from Chanel. For face and skins mostly from Lancome and Clinique. Mascara I prefer from Lancome. For body treatment, I have clarins, biotherm and sometimes Lancome. There is one more brand that I'd love to try called La praire.
As for parfume, I have many of them but I only use few of them. Such as Chanel, Calvin Klein, Gucci and Bulgari. But I'm open for other parfume as well....just depends on my mood.

My cosmetics are brands, but mostly only cheap ones.
I do have a lot of my Avon, as my sister -in-law & my mother-in-law both sell Avon.
In addition to Avon, I sometimes buy Coral Colours & Maybeline.

For eyeshadow I like Clinique or Mary kay, it's worth the extra money because they last so much longer than the cheap stuff, it stays on my face even when it's humid. I also like the same brands for foundation. But for mascara I like the pink tube of Maybelline. I don't wear lipstick, just chapstick, I've got skinny lips so I don't like to draw attention to them lol.

Haha.. Yeah, absolutely... I wore unknown eyeshadow before, and they always disappeared after a while.. I thought that cheaper cosmetic products give me the chance to buy so many more colors... However, they didn't lase.. I learned my lesson and changed to Clinique, and I didn't lose my color again... =) I read a magazine about branded vs generic cosmetics and learned why they are different... That's why I stick with branded now.. =)
Thanks for your reply, mememama! =)

I have stuffs that are mixed and match though my lipsticks and blusher are from Clinique. My face wash and astringent are prescribed from the doctor as I have sensitive skin. My perfume, I prefer the brabded stuff and currently using Issey Miyake... Love the scent since I started using it 6 years ago. My Mascara are from Bodyshop and my eyeshadow from Revlon. Not all the the time branded though....

The same here with me.. I use branded major things.. For eyeliners, I would try to buy the possibly cheapest one out there.. LOL... Thanks for responding, syain1972! =)

I usually use branded cosmetics, and I buy them from the same place so it is easier to track down the right kinds. I like MAx Factor for eyes and Chanel for lips. Otheriwse I choose between a couple of brands for foundation, depending on the season.

Yeah, I believed that cosmetics like eye shadows, lipsticks and foundations are better branded than non-branded. But I do wear generic mascaras, removers and some eyeliners. Thanks for replying, Woodpigeon! =)

I think generic work just as well as branded, but I'll be honest here, I do prefer branded products, because it is true that they have more special ingredients that are better for the skin, some generic products do work well however, some creams work wonders and some make-uo removers also work well. I prefer Rimmel products, and Clinique, but I cannot afford Clinique so I stick with Rimmel.

Yeah.. I do agree that generic products are rather expensive.. But some products do last longer and are better for your skin.. Thanks for your response, curvychick77! =)
