News just got in that Big Sam had resigned at Bolton. Of course, when the top manager resigned, a lot of rumors will start to expose. My theory is Big Sam resigned because he had been approached by FA to replace Steve Mclaren as England Manager. Do you agree with that?

The scoop is official now, Big Sam is the coach of New Castle United. I guess it is a win-win for both parties. Sam has been looking to move to a big club since last season and New Castle is a big club that has been doing very badly. For the club, their dismal performances in the last three seasons require a fresh and strong approach and who better than Big Sam. Cheers! Ram

Sam has gone to Newcastle, a slightly bigger club, and will find no shortage of support there. I lived in Newcastle for several years, and the 'Geordies', as they are known, or more specifically for the football fans 'the Toon Army', are as passionate about football as the Roma or Madrid fans. I wish him well. More importantly, Rochdale FC was 100 years old last Monday! Hurray, 100 years, and still no success! What a good standard to set, it means that every Saturday, a Rochdale fan feels good just as long as we don't lose!LOL
