I answer so many discussions and I'll think to myself I have done ten and come to find out I have done twenty. Where did those other ten come from?? They snuck up on me. I guess time flies when your having fun. My goal is to do 20 a day but usually i do a bit more.. Have you ever thought you had answered a certain number of discussions only to find out you have answered more or even less?? Do you set a goal each day?

I normally just settle the email notifications. If I have time, I will run through discussions from friends or no responses. I don't set a goal. I just aim for maybe 1 or 2 pages more. Or 5 more, or 10 more. I don't really count.
But I want to set a goal now because I think this will make me more efficient. :P

Hello, mssnow,i will alos set a goal to reply a particular number of reponses everyday, but it turns out that my ecpectation is too high, most of the time i cannot reach the goal, or may be my typing speed is too slow, I should have improved it so that i can reach the goal.

To be honest, it depends on my creative mood, it my creative juices are running like a waterfall then I can quite easily get carried away with discussions and not realize either the time or the amount of discussions I have responded to. I don't have goals, it depends on how I feel, sometimes I will do a few, other days I can respond, respond, respond. I think the most I've done in a day is 86 but that was only once, and that was just to get my 2000 milestone. But if you really think about your responses and make good quality ones then doing more than say 50 is nigh on impossible unless you are on the computer 24/7.

I did that once to reach 1000 I was at like 950 and I managed to answer 50 discussions. it took me all day and i was exhausted after. I will not do that this time. Today I will answer my goal of 20 and maybe tomorrow ill make 2000, Its just too hard to do more than that.

I do answer more discussion than i think i do because i enjoy staying here and responding to any discussion that interest me.I do set my goal every day because i want to have a time management since my time is very limited and since i am a student here so i need to spend my time wisely.

When I first began posting on mylot, I was posting between fifty and one hundred posts a day. That's a goal I just couldn't keep up with so I try to do at least twenty five a day, but on the weekends I don't push myself if I have plans or other goals to accomplish. So far, I haven't missed one day of posting and I am still enjoying it.

I am completely the opposite. I get so involved in going back to discussions to carry on the thread that I do less than I feel I'm doing. I suppose it depends on how many discussions you start yourself and how many responses you need to acknowledge, because I like to do that as quickly as possible.
I used to aim for forty to fifty responses per day, and only two or three discussions, but if you receive a lot of responses, then you get held up for quite a long time. I do anyway... perhaps it's me!!! lol
Brightest Blessings.

Sometimes, I totally lose track of of many I've answered until it gets to the point that I completely don't even realize how long I've been on the site. I don't really need a goal for myself, I do this mostly during work so I just try to get in as many as I can.

Hi Mssnow! Hope all is well with you.
The only goals that I really set for myself as far as responding to posts is to make sure I try to answer as many discussion my friends have started as possible. I think it is really important to answer your friends, to me they are more important because they in return help me out when I'm not in an uninspired slump. If I can answer any other posts then that is just extra for me. I sometimes have a number in mind, but I usually go way over it and faster then I thought I would. I guess it's true as the saying says time flies when your having fun.

It happen so often that I am always tricked. I always keep track of the response count before I start the first response and would stop after I have reached my "goal" and there is no more outstanding discussions in my list to respond. If I stopped and found that I have not reached my "goal", I will swim round for some fishes to feed my stomach. If the weather is that bad such that I am unable to find one, I will just call it a day. At times, it is not my call. It's god's wish that I stop.

I do make a goal for my self for each day, my goal is 30 post a day, but sometimes i got more from that. I don't know how it came but sometimes my point is going up it self.
In weekend i just can make it a little less than 30 because i must went out with my family all day long.
I hope i can do more than 30 each day.

It varies sometime I think I've answered quite a few and come to find out that I have only answered five. Then another day I can feel like I haven't answered many at all and have actually answered 20 or so too. I usually try to stop on round number like something ending in 5 or 0 each so when I am trying to find just a couple more or even one more thing to answer it seems to take forever. lol
I try to do at least ten comments a day, try, it doesn't always work that way.

Sometimes I answer more discussions that I thought I did. But most of the time I am keeping tabs because I set a goal for myself everyday. It is easy for me in the winter, because I stay in the house, but now that the summer is coming in, I don't know how much time I will be on my lot and I will probably have to lower my goal which is 50 discussions a day and 3 discussions that I personally start.

I am rather selective in my approach of posting responses, because you can't respond to trivial questions that are silly and commonplace.

How long have you been here?
I joined the site 4 days ago,now i post more than 100 discussions.I cant believe it.
When i read some new discussions ,i cant help myself to write down my feeling. Sometimes i write over 10 lines. You know, English is not my native language and i am not good at it. Besides,i have no patience to write such long words.
But i break my record,i'm very happy.
I think i can speak fluent english in a few months. It is a real good place for me.
