Okay, so what do you guys think is the longest acceptable time to spend on your hair? assuming you have a hairstyle you really like, and you've just washed your hair, what is your limit. Most of us have probably spent a ridiculous amount of time on our hair, i know i sure do. But as a regular average time, when do you think it stops being worth it?

I think I'd put one hour as the maximum limit, and that too if it is for some really good party. I would freak out if someone told me that they spent an hour over their hair before coming to office!
I don't spend too much time over my hair simply because I don't have much time! I have to go to my office quite early, so I just get up, bathe, eat my breakfast and rush of office, with a few strokes on my hair. Then I usually comb it properly once I'm in my office, but that usually takes about ten to fifteen minutes, unless its standing in some wierd way :D

Make sure you are getting the essential nutrients required by your body and promote good circulation with regular exercise and scalp massage. The first step is prevention. Care for your hair as you would any valuable possession. Use a mild shampoo that is recommended for your hair type, such as: oily hair, dry hair, color treated, etc. If you are unsure, seek the advice of a hairdresser. I suggest using a conditioner after every shampoo; again, one that is formulated for your hair type. The conditioner will soften the hair and reduce the amount of wear causing friction between hair strands. Reduce the amount of heat styling you do. Whenever possible, let your hair dry naturally. This eventually causes split ends that will, in turn, result in the hair breaking off.
