Coin Returns

I just watched a movie titled "My John Doe" and in it the character is giving a speech about the average Joe and how important he is, and just who he is... he mentions that the Average Joe is the fellow who walks by the newspaper box or payphone and checks to see if there are any coins in the return... So, my question: Are you an Average Joe? Do you check the coin returns of vending machines and payphones for change that someone neglected to collect? My children always do this and they collect $2 some times between the returns and reaching under the soda machines for coins that dropped and rolled.

I have to admit...as a kid I did this all the time and would find lots of change. I still every once in awhile find myself at the least glancing over to see if any coins are lying in the return slot. Old habits are hard to break...I suppose :) lol. You could call me an Average Jane.
