I took 2.5 years to get pregnant. How about you?

My husband and I chose to quit using birth control in May 2004. The funny thing is, we were not even sure if we wanted kids or not; we just said, "It will happen if it's supposed to." With each passing month, I began to assume we were just not meant to have children naturally, though whether I was more disappointed or relieved, I couldn't say. But imagine my surprise when in early December 2006 I began to think, "Okay, something different is going on down there." Some disbelief and denial certainly followed. But with each week and new development, my joy is growing. I am now 24 weeks along and due in August, and wouldn't change the outcome for anything. How about the rest of you?

It took me and my husband minimal time to have children. I got pregnant right after we tried. I would never change it. I love my children more than the world.

My husband and I tried for two months and then stopped because it felt so "sorted" to me....
I didn't like being like, "Okay, I'm ovulating, my temperature's high, let's go!"
Very romantic-lol!
I decided that I wanted us to "let the chips fall where they may" and after a year, if nothing's happened, we'll start actually trying again;)
