Is it safe to study in a Us university?

It doesnt matter where you are, shootings and acts of violence can happen anywhere. I am personally a college student in the United States, and just like VT is seems calm now. You just never know though, people just happen to snap sometimes.

Shootings at US univerisities are not that common. They have happened, but they have also happened in other countries. That would be like my saying I wouldn't go into a court house because of George Lott's episode in the early 90's. Anywhere and everywhere is a potential site for mass violence. The only thing you can do (beyond locking yourself up in a concrete bunker) is know what to do if something happens.

It could happen to anyone. I think if you want to study in USA then you should. You shouldn't be scared of someone stealing your dream. You could get injured/killed anywhere. It doesn't matter the place. There is violence everywhere, so I think it becomes a personal question for you. Have a nice day.
