The first draft, anyway. It's a major accomplishment for me because I started it almost a decade ago, but kept putting it off. Now I'm hoping to get into more of a writing habit so I can finish projects in a more reasonable time frame.
Just had to share my joy about this! I'm so happy I even posted about it on my website as soon as I was done. Honestly, I'm still doing the mental happy dance even though I know there's still a lot of editing and additional drafts to do. The first draft was really the hardest part in this case.

Congratulations for a job well done! Though you have started it about a decade ago, what's important is that you have finally finished it! And I'm looking forward that you can you publish it on books as well. Congratulations again and more power to you! :)

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I think the biggest thing is to keep writing. I hate to think I only have one story in me and can't keep creating other stories, or to get hung up or too attached to one novel. The more I write, the less emotionally involved I'll get, which will help when I do have items ready to take to market.

I'm focusing on getting it in tip top shape. Editing is going to take quite a while for me. I'm my own worse critic. If I think it's good, it'll be ready to try to sell. I'd like to take it to either an agent or some sort of real publishing house rather than do self publishing. Running my own website is hard enough! :)
