Do you agree that most filipinos are natural born critic

dont get me wrong but, i'm not degrading filipinos. but, do you agree? because, when i first got here in USA i am shy in speaking/talking english. Why? because, when i'm in the philippines people tend to laugh or accuse you in trying to hard to talk the language. one thing i learned here, that no matter where you've been they ignore what wrong grammar you tell or say, but instead try to understand and help you with what you are saying. they don't care if you have "barok" english as long as they understand you. but in front of fellow filipino i speak our native language just because i am filipino and im proud to be one! and of course bcause i'm filipino and i know how filipinos think if you try too hard. so, let me know what you think?

You're right Filipino tend to that. Remember Erap jokes? it became quite popular. I don't know why most Filipinos are like that. If you're Pinoy trying to speak in English and your grammar is wrong they will laugh at you even if you're from province (like Visayas) trying to speak Tagalog the result is the same. But if you're a foreigner trying to speak Tagalog or you speak English badly, they will say you're really good and will even aid you.

I do agree with everything that you have said. Actually Filipinos as an english critic, it's only one. We are a versatile critic. But you know what? Sometimes we are better in english than some americans. We speak grammatically correct. Sometimes we know more profound words than them. I think that when people laugh at you because you speak barok, that is the sad part of it.

i'm liking it here too. but it's really different when you're away from home. if only all my friends and family where here, then, it wouldn't be hard to adjust. im missing the philippines most specially my friends and family.. i miss going to the beach especially this time of the year. O_o
