I live in Canada, so we just say "Thanks" in English. Of course in the French part of Canada they say "Merci." My background is Danish, so we say "Tak" or "Tak For Mad" (pronounced Tuk Fa Meh) if we are thanking someone for food.
And if you want to cook some food to be thankful for, you might want to check out my cookbook, of the same name "Tak For Mad," with Danish recipes, written in English.

we have lot of ways on saying thank you here in the Philippines,salamat and gracias, are few of them.
