best way is to potty train the dog. dogs usually pee after rousing from sleep or every two hours. the best way to potty train them is take them out before they pee or 15 minutes after they take their foods. take them out and after a couple of days they will get the idea and alert you every time they need to pee or pooh.

Yep, I'm a dog trainer. It'd take a book to tell you how to train him how to do all of that! The best thing I can tell you is to learn about training, hire a trainer, take classes, etc.
For housebreaking the best method is crating. Buy a travel kennel of the right size, large enough for him to stand and turn around comfortably but not larger. Whenever you can't watch him carefully put him in his kennel. Make very sure, though, that you take him outside right away after he naps, eats, or drinks and/or every few hours. Yes, even at night if he's very young still!
At a very young age puppies are exactly like little babies, they just can't "hold it" for very long but he'll be able to hold it longer as he gets older.
If he starts to go on the carpet just calmly go pick him up and take him outside. If he has an accident and you don't catch him at it 1. just clean it up without saying anything because there's no use in trying to do anything about it after the fact and 2. scold yourself firmly for not watching him better! LOL
It just takes time, patience, and consistency :)

how old is your dog??to train a puppy, you must bring him outside after his meal and bring him in after he is done, or you may also bring him inside the bathroom after his meal or every 2hrs.
