do you believe in long distant relationship for more than a year? whereby both of you can't really meet for regularly.. Personally I think long distant relationship is tough. especially if one person is too busy to correspond regularly... share your experience, thoughts or someone else that you witness....

I had a long distance relationship with my now husband for about a year before I moved 700 miles to move in with him. For it to work both people have to be commited, talk often and get together sometimes if you can. We shared many E-mails and phone calls, we talked daily on the instant messenger. It is sometimes tuff but if it is something you really want than it can happen.

Congratulation on your sucessful long distant relationship. ; I am happy for you that you have found your love. I guess one person has to move closer to the other party otherwise ... long distant is difficult to work. Sometime due to family or health issue that neither party could move.... sometime we have to consider those love ones around us too....

Long distance relationships statistically don't work out.I have seen that in a magazine article .I also know of some people who have tried long distance relationships that never worked out.I also tried to have one.We were supposed to get married but not seeing each other a whole lot took it's toll .

My boyfriend and I have been long distance for a couple of years now because of his job and my family situation. He's in Arizona and I'm in Ontario, but we try to get together when we can. I just came back from Arizona in February, and I'm planning to go back as soon as I can make the arrangements.

Thanks for sharing. I think keeping contact also include visiting not solely depending on tech communication is very important. My question would be does your boyfriend visit you as often as you do?

I've been in a long distance relationship for six years before getting married. Until now, we are still keeping a long distance relationship since my hubby works abroad and goes home only after his contract ends. I've gotten used to his absence. And I still love him so much although we seldom see each other. We have a son now and I am on my second pregnancy.

He said he will be here by then, and I'm hoping so much that he will be here. I wish he could assist me when I'm in labor and bring me to the hospital himself and take care of me and the baby afterwards. I told him I want his presence so bad when I give birth to our baby.
