mylot rating system should be improved, what do you think?

I am quite a few weeks in mylot, enjoying it quite a good site. The only thing that is not good is the rating system. A system of rating the discussion as well as responses as good, better, best, poor, fair and the earnings to be updated as per rating and this rating if a mandatory one then more quality discussion should come in mylot.
Rating system can be like this
Poor *
Fair **
Good ***
Very Good ****
Excellent *****
Rating of every discussion and responses will obviously give more quality in mylot and better earnings for good discussions will be there. What do you think?

I want to agree with you on this, but they keep their system for rating us a secret. I have been comparing myself to others today and for the life of me, I can not figure things out. so I basically stopped trying.
I don't understand the earnings system either. I read what other people say and they speak with authority, as if they know what they are talking about, but I have found a lot of their guessing to be wrong. So I have just decided to relax and enjoy myself.

Hey ibs,
I don't know exactly how MyLot has the staff to view each discussion but some how they get it done-I just like hitting the payout mark even though it's only $10 it makes me feel like I've just won a prize-it's a good feeling.
MyLot has gone through a few changes since I joined & I'm guessing they're still perfecting their system.

I like it as it is, it would give an unfair advantage to well educated people, and adults, what about the 13 year old, that simply be unfair.

I think the rating system should be changed, because the star thing annoys me. I don't mean to sound conceited here, but my star got changed from a 10 to a 9 about a week ago, and I think it's really unfair. I am not doing anything wrong. Again I know that sounds kind of snooty, but come on. I rate other people's discussions, I give long replies; none of those short little two-worders, I am friendly, I give advice, and I do a lot of posting. I don't know what I did wrong, and I don't know why I haven't been changed back to a 10. But it is kind of sad and frustrating.
