How do you prevent from getting menstraul cramps monthly?
When you're having it, how do you reduce the pain?
What causes menstural cramps anyway? I heard its because you don't exercise but even when I do, I still find myself stuck with it every month!
FYI my period is regular

Every woman needs to find a treatment that works for her. Perhaps the most common treatment, especially in the past, has been to lie down at the first sign of pain. It used to be that many women's restrooms contained a cot or a couch so that a woman who felt "indisposed" could lie down. A bed in the school nurse's office served the same purpose and girls were routinely excused from physical education or other classes because of menstrual cramps.

My doc said, Menstrual pain is natural because your body helps get rid of the clots inside of your ovaries. Those are the eggs that was not fertilized so it will breaks up and your body help prepares to get rid of the clots. So it is only normal to have cramps. Midol and Tramadol is the only pills that seems to help me.

Your problem is almost human called woman problem. I used to have menstrual cramp. I eat supplement called 'EPA' or evening primrose oil. 1000mg and once a day. But, do refer to gynecology first and if they ask u to eat this supplementary just follow it. ok! :)

My first day of my period is the worst for me. I am usually in bed all day with killer cramps. I use a heating pad on my abdomen, drink lots of herbal tea (cramp bark, chamomile, etc. my friend makes me an "herb cocktail" of a bunch of herbs that help to relieve cramps. I can find out all the names if you want). I take some ibuprofen and if the cramps are really bad, I'll take an anti-inflammatory.
Do you use pads or tampons? I use tampons but I am going to purchase a Diva Cup soon to see if that helps.
