Why there is size difference between ladies watch and gents watch?

As you know in the market there are two types of watches Gents and ladies. Why there is no common watch for ladies and gents.

Ladies wrist are smaller than gents wrist, hence the ladies watches are smaller and with intricate designs, which women likes.

Maybe the difference in wrist watch sizes are because some womans wrist are so tiny then that of a man... Im just Guessing here lol

maybe because our wrist is smaller than that of men's wrist.
