Instead of using lettuce on your sandwiches, try a prepackaged coleslaw blend found in the produce section, it is made up of cabbage and carrots that are finely shredded. You'll get way more vitamins and flavor.
Some of my snacking is done with popcorn sprinkled with garlic powder or chilli powder, basically any spice you like as it adds no calories. I also find when i get the munchies alot of times if i drink a big glass of ICE water and wait a few moments and poof! the desire to snack
vanishes.

Good tip on the coleslaw blend. I remember reading one time that if they had to rank the veggies...iceburg lettuce would be the junk food of the veggie world.
I have been doing spices on popcorn forever...I forget about that. I do the ice water in the summer but once I get cold in the winter...I never warm up.
Good thing about ice water too is that you actually burn a few calories in warming your body back up...how is that for a winning combination!

Thanks for sharing your idea because I do not like lettuce but could handle the coleslaw. Your other ideas are great, never thought about chili powder, I guess Old Bay seasoning would work too.
