Richard Gere Kisses Shilpa Shetty!!

if Mr. Richard Gere is arrested by the order of Indian Judicial Magistrate, then that day would be considered as "Black Day" in Indian History. i firmly oppose this decision because Mr. Gere had come to comment on Aids not his intention to get publish by kissing Shilpa Shetty publically. if it is happened i will definately appeal in supreme court to save both Mr. Gere and Ms. Shilpa who is my cup of tea since the inception of starting hindi movie. thanks.

I have seen far worse scenes that this in Indian films and I've been watching them for years. People made way too much of a fuss over it, after all, they forgot the main reason Gere was there was to promote AIDS awareness and it is a big issue in India, people should be glad that such an international celebrity is doing so much for the cause and istead all the nonsense happened. Even Shilpa Shetty told the media to cut out all the hype. She knew what was going on and she was a part of it, so why is HE getting all the flack? He wasn't raping or assaulting her, it was just a gimmick. Poor Richard Gere, stuff like this makes me think India needs to chill out a bit more and give people a break.

It hints that Indian proudy culture is diverting by modern culture in western style. Of course this was an acting for AIDS awareness, so it can be accepted as an acting but it would better if it could be acted by imagination not by practical. As Richard Gere understood the situation and apolizised with Indian Citizen I think it can be excused. Why Indian Actor allowed and accepted this type of acting is a question, for money or for publicity. I see in many Indian Film near similar kissing by actor and actress and if this is no harm, I think acting for AIDS can be excused.
