another household member joining mylot under same connection?

Hello, I am just wondering if this is allowed? I have a friend staying over who I have encouraged to join mylot but i wonder if he can join or at least login to his mylot account using my internet connection? I have read some discussions where husbands and wifes both post on mylot using their own accounts - but they wouldn't have separate internet connections - who would waste money on another internet connection?
