with modern technology, we are using high tech equipments and one of which is a digital camera. unlike the ones we use with film, we have to have it developed first to see how we looked in it but with the digicams, we can view it from the memory cards.
do you still print your pictures of you just save it on cds for future purposes?

I just went threw and printed about 150 pics from my digital camera. I have the camera with a photo dock at home, so I can print them right here. My memory card in my camera was full so I went threw and printed all the pictures and put them in photo books. It took a good portion of the day, but I felt it is important to have the printed picture for when my kids get older.

it's really cheaper to have your own printer these days especially if you enjoy pictures. and it is the best memories of childhood for your kids. thanks for the response! keep more photos coming :)

I think it is cheaper and much more convient to have your own dock to print photos. Thanks for marking me best response.

I dont have a good printer, but I do like some of my digital pics printed so I use snapfish, print out the ones I want and touch them up if need be. I don't save any to cd's though. I keep the pics on my computer and whatever printed ones I get I try and keep them all together in the envelope ( I need to start putting them in albums!), or in a frame on the wall.

We do have our digital camera in our house and everytime we capture a picture we saved it to our computer and send it to my sister that is far from us.Sometimes we do print it for some purposes. And it is more cheaper if we do print it in our computer using printer and we will just buy a photo paper.

this is what i also do, especially if i have to print lots of copies as souvenirs. it is cheaper to buy the ink than to have it printed outside.
thanks for the response :)

in these age of technology, i can't still say that CDs can last forever so I save a copy of the pictures in the CD (in case my PC crashes) and still print the pictures. That way, the kids & relatives can still enjoy the pictures without the computer turned on.

I have tons of digital pictures on my PC. At first I tried printing them on my HP printer but it is not economical, with the ink and paper. It is also not economical with the digital printer kiosk printer in town. It cost about 7 - 10 pesos per picture. I know I need to print the picture because it is still better to show them in album and printed. And lately we have a camera shop here who has a promo of 4.50 per picture with minimum of 200 3R size picture. I went and printed about 500 pictures for 5.50 pesos 4R size. I will go back again and print. It is still very good to print them out, after my family see the picture everybody took a copy and I end up with few picture remaining left and need to re-copy them again. That's life.

hi gwenmari :)
well, in my case i just save my pic in my pc, in e-mail, or in disc.. coz im more on putting pics on my profiles than keeping it in my photo album! But, sometimes i print some of my pics if needed. If example my friend wants a copy of it.

hi izzieizzie, thanks for the reply :)
it is indeed cheaper to save pictures first on cd and online albums but be sure to print the ones you really like cause i think, sometimes the online albums are deleted after sometime.

I take lots of pictures with my digital camera. I actually use clarkcolor.com to print my pictures. That way I can save my pictures in an album and then they will print them and mail them to me. Then if I need them again then I just go back to that album.

We normally put the photos on a couple of dics so that we have two copies in case one gets damaged some how. We have printed out a few photos but not that many. I find that its just easier to view the photos from the discs. Some times we will take photos from different discs to make up special discs for family members.
