anyone else suffer from INSOMNIA???? any ideas?? I will try them out!

I suffer from insomnia to the point that I can hardly function during the day sometimes. I've found that if I eliminate caffeine altogether, it helps. Even then, I sometimes take antihistamine. That does it every time but I don't think it's good for you to take every day.

definitely cant cut it out completely.. im a coffee addict!.. (and thank god cause when im up all night ive still got a two year old to attend to during the day) I don't mind decaf and i typically drink decaf in the evening if im drinking it "just because" .. i may have soda with dinner.. but somehow i dont think its my real problem.. i switched to caffeine free for almost a month once, and NOTHING changed, lol... good idea with the antihistamine, but ive tried it believe it or not.. and you dont wanna take that stuff alot either.. but also tried melatonin (herbal supplement) it helps my son most of the time... but NOT ME!! lol
