Yes! After a lot of posting and responding, when I logged in a few hours ago, I finally got my ten stars back! Whopee! I just really want to thank everyone who has been responding to my discussions. I know I can't thank all of you personally in the comments section but I really do appreciate all of your response and I do rate all of them and read them. So, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Congratulations on your success!It seems to be very hard to got ten stars,cause have posted 855 responses and discussions which is a large amount for me.Peering into ten stars,i still have lots of work to do.

Thanks. I really don't know the formula on how to increase it. I just posted and posted and hoped that I got my ten stars back. I only had it for one day before now I hope on keeping it a little longer. Just keep posting and eventually you'll get there. Good luck!

Congratulation friend, I lost my ten star after a hot discussion about gay maariages and it's real hard for me to get it back. All I know is don't fall in any hot discussion with many mylotters as we can lose our ranking and earnings. May be soon I will also reach to 9 star ranking lolz. Seems far away right now.

Yeah, I try to stay as far away from those as possible. Some people just can't take it when you have differences in opinions. Sorry you had to lose yours because of a debate. Like I said, I'm just lucky that the last debate I was on, the person was nice and gave me + for my answers even if we differ in opinions.

Congratulations Natalie!!! After reading your discussions and responding to most I can see why you deserve to have a blue star. Your topics are usaully informative as well as well written. You never give a short responses either. You have earned your blue star.

I want to get my ten star back too. I started with a 9 star, then went up quickly to a 10 star and
then went back to a 9 star because one of my discussions got deleted. I have been trying to get back
to a 10 star since but no luck yet.
I hope it happens soon. I want to be the best!

You're lucky. I started out with a 10 which lasted for a couple of months. Then I had puter problems and couldn't get online for almost two weeks. When I returned I found that I had been demoted to a 9. Not that it makes any difference but it was a little disappointing. Oh well, life goes on.
PS...I was not instrumental in your regaining your 10 as this is the first day that I have seen anything that you have posted (being picky). I got it from your profile list and am using it as "a test" (lol) to see if you pass my minimum requirements as mentioned in your posting about being "picky".

LOL. Thanks, so did I pass? I'm just happy that I got a ten and I'm enjoying it because I know I'll probably lose it in the next couple of days plus the fact that I'm going to start school again and I probably won't be able to log in as much so I know it would go down some time soon. Just keep posting, you'll get yours back soon.

I haave not yet lost my star so I dont know how it is to fight back - but my guess is that it takes work, so Well done - Hopwfully the blue star is here to stay this time =)

Good for you. I am very happy for you unfortunately I am still struggling and is it so much harder to do when your point count is high. To get 10% of your reputation back to bring you from a 9 star to a 20 star you would only need 87 good posts I would need 520 good posts and that is very hard to achieve.

Oh that's too bad. I knew that the reputation had to be some sort of ratio between posts and discussions. Wow, 520 is hard to achieve...but with your posts and discussions, you'll always be a ten star for me.

Congrats, you deserve it. I enjoy your discussions very much. Is it true that the rating is based completely on what others rate you input and not myLot input at all? If so you should be very proud.

So I've heard. Mylot has no input whatsoever in the ratings so you should be careful because a lot of users here just use the + and - buttons loosely. They rate you negatively for some silly reasons. Thanks.

The number on your star is your reputation rating. Members rate you based on your discussions. You have a 9 so you're doing a great job. Do you notice the +-! buttons on your discussions, well users use this. If they like your discussions they rate you a + and well, there are some you rate you - because they don't like your discussions. Since you got a 9 it means users have been rating you +. Good job!
