Sunday morning

It is 6:30 a.m.--you are awake, what do you hear? I live on main street, but there is no traffic, at all. I hear the night birds leaving, a whoo whoo of the owl, and I hear a cardinal (songbird) and robin (songbird) speaking to the sun that is just coming up. If it was Monday, there would still be birds, but also a steady stream of traffic and people walking down the sidewalk, and dogs barking at the people. It is Sunday, time to get up and get ready for worship.

Rise in the morning, smile with a rising sun. three little birds, beside my door step, singing sweet song.... Your description of nature and birds, reminded me of this Bobmarley number.

I love early Sunday mornings. They are so quite and as you said you can hear the birds singing. it is so beautiful to be up and out watching the sky streaked with color as the birds sing the sun up. And you can hear the world start to wake up. If I go for a walk at this time some of the neighborhood cats come and give a greeting wanting to be petted. I love Sunday mornings. I worship the Lord on Saturday. I love Sabbaths too but the mornings are not as peaceful as Sundays are because people still are getting up to go to work and you hear all the traffic and so forth.

First of all I am not a morning person. SPecially in weekend I get up late. But I love to hear birds singing. From our appartment we can't hear birds singing very often. I love them singing no matter it's morning or afternoon. If I have to get up in the morning I love the morning ambience of my world.

On Sunday morning here in Australia where I live, when I awake all is quite although I do hear some noise from the bats outside as it is still dark as it is the wee hours of the morning around 4:oo a.m. there is no traffic most morning at this early hour. Oh dear now if it was Monday for me then I would be hearing a lot of noise as the people prepare to go to work even though we do not live on the main road it is extremely busy with the traffic here and the people going roaring up the road like jets!!

I mostly hear birds. We have a lot of large gum trees & the birds love this. Somertimes the kookaburras get on the overhead power lines, & wake up us with with thir funny cackle. Sometimes I hear the dogs barking. I rarely hear traffic as our street is fairly quiet. Lately I hear the young boys next door playing with their basketball, which is not so pleasant when it bangs on the fence.

I hate the sound of a weed eater against the fence, anytime of the day or night, it just really gets my nerves.

Here at my parent's place it is paradise where the noise levels are concerned. Even though it is a small town, the roads are so wide we hardly have much traffic. I hear the birds chirping in the morning and that's about it. This makes my soul lighter as being closer to nature helps me unwind better. When I am in London or Manhattan, the noise is a bit too much. The worst being in Manhattan.

Sunday mornings I love to wake up slow and hear the sounds of nature. Like you, I can hear the birds singing. I also hear the neighbors horses whinnying over in the pasture that's close to my house. Other than that, it's totally quiet (until afternoon when the traffic starts.) In the quiet of the early morning, it's sometimes hard to believe that there's civilization around because it's so quiet and natural.
