I think that I do a little of both. I live for today but somethings require me to look to the immediate future. I am planning on visiting my son in Montana this summer. So I must plan for that. I want to have money to live on when I retire in 15 years so I must plan for that. I also enjoy today. The sun is out and I have already been outside to enjoy it. Everything is going good today and I feel good about the day.

Both, i am living from day to day and i am leaving for the future. Sometimes when i find myself giving up, that's the time i am telling myself that i am living for today, and i wont worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry for itself. But sometimes i am also living for the future, that when i plan everything and looking forward for better tomorrow.

I live for today, because i don't know my future. God will make everything perfect for me.

I feel that I do both, in order for me to live for the future I HAVE to live for today and make the most of it so that I can have a wonderful future. I mean I do take each day for what it gives me and take the lessons I have learned that day and carry them over to continue my life learning to the next day...but in the end I am doing this all for the positive outcome that lies before in the future. :)
