Here is Big news after the world cuo Surry has scored 496 runs against Gloucester in a 50 overs county match Surely 20-20 has a role to play in one day cricket.. Same as one day cricket is playing its part in test cricket Ali brown scored 172 in 96 balls and James benning scored 152 of 134 balls .Also riki clake scored 82 of just 28 balls Amazing hitting!!!

Ohh man that's really a very good score made by Surry team. They had really made it practical and I think they must be the coach of those team who were out of Super Eight like India and Pakistan.

That is an unbelievable score. Imagine if it was friendly game between Australia and Gloucester. No disrespect to Gloucester. To score that many runs is very rare and you have to be at the top of your game to achieve that. Only team at the moment who can match that is Australia. They would of got over 400 runs in the world cup final if rain did not affect the match.

Wow i read in the newspapers about it. Surrey really posted a big mammoth total esp. in a one dayer. Surely lot of fours and sixes must have rained in that match a spectator's delight. Yeah with 20-20 cricket now we are going to see players scoring at much faster clip with better quality bats, rules favouring batsmen, flat pitches and bowlers not that good really. I also feel like one dayers has made test matches more decisive as there are lot less draws and players are always looking for runs. So Big and bigger scores are here to stay.

That is a huge score. There does seem to be a trend towards sides getting bigger and bigger scores in the One Day game. Feel a bit sorry for the bowlers. I think you are right about 20/20 having an impact.
