Hi,
Nice to hear that u lost some weight but iam more happy that u r eager to lose weight. If u have a will u have the way.
I think if u r a begineer u start with walking and then brisk walking. Keeping a dairy of your workout really helps. Dont get into heavy workout initially. It will do more harm than good.
As soon as u think that u r able to do crunches u start doing it. Its for getting abs. As soon as u think that weights r your friends u will be more confident.
Aerobic dance is alos very good for women.
I wish u good luck and think healthy.
Cheers,
tutul

Hi,
I think u got it wrong. Age has nothing to do with fitness. Its a wrong belief which people have in their mind.
I think u r more matured now to understand which exersixes are suitable for you and which exersixes to go for.
I started working out at the age of 17. I was very excited about it and got involved with lot of injuries initally. Now iam calm and know how to proceed. So, as u said u r a fitness freak then dont worry abt age and all things. Age is just a number.
Cheers & good luck,
Tutul

Tutul, age does have something to do with fitness and losing weight. A person's metabolism slows down as he or she ages. Also, after age 35 or so people start losing muscle mass.
But you're right that people of any age can keep in shape if they try.

One of the best things you can do is reduce portion sizes. That will definitely help you eat less. Over the last few decades portions have become huge in Western countries. Restaurants are giving larger portions, and food you buy in stores comes in larger packages.
It used to be single-serving sodas were pretty much 12oz cans, now the typical bottle is 20oz, or even 24oz.
