I was in Detroit last week and rode the People Mover. It was nice. Two trains that go around and around the loop area -- NO CONDUCTOR NEEDED. I went around a lot of times and saw something new each time. I had the impression that this system was new to the area because the children and adults were so excited about riding the train. I sat there for a while and listened to all of the different discussions. It was very clean and nice. Cheap too. Only fifty cents. How is the public transportation in your town or city?

The Detroit People Mover should have extended many miles into the suburbs like the old trolley systems did. However, hate between the suburbanites and the city dwellers stalled proceedings. Things are much better now and feelings have become softer.

It's such a nice system, maybe they have plans to extend it in the future. Boy, that downtown area needs to be revitalized, don't it. It was like a ghost town. Thanks for your response.

Thanks for the comment MEME. Lots of places are don't have the access to public transporttation that the larger cities do and I bet they walk a little more. Maybe.

Save up your money and it can indeed be possible.
