Birth Control - Mini-Pill

Well i had a n Apointment with my doctor this morning about birth contro and she gave me a prescription for the " Mini- pill"(Micronor) I had never heard of it before, but i guess it's a progestin only pill. i was just wondering if anyone else is taking this birth control pill??

I have heard about it only once by someone on another board that told me about it... I have had so much trouble with Birth control that I have by the advice of my doctor and personal choice recently gone off all BC. But, I had thought about this one. If you can let me know how you like it. I would be interested in hearing in a couple of months just to see if it may be something I could do. Is there a reason you are doing this one vs another one?

I took the mini pill after having my 1st child. I was on it for a year. I didn't have any side effects while taking it. This pill is troublesome cos' you have to take it at the same time everyday. You can't miss a day!

I haven't heard of it either. Is this the first time you've taken birth control or did your doctor switch yours?

i had tried the patch before after i had my first daughter, but couldn't afford it every month, so i had stopped using birth control, Now i am looking into getting my tubes tied, but i have to have several appointments over several months before they will do it, So until then birth control pills. This is my first time taking the pills though.
