I was thinking about our first date. I remember it quite well. I remember where we went for dinner and I what I ate and even what he ate. We were in college and we went to the next college town over and ate at a nice little place called Uncle Max's. It was a steakhouse and bar. We were seated at a lovely, quiet little table in the corner. I ordered chicken cordon bleu and he had lemon pepper chicken. It was a really nice date. While passing through that town over the weekend we noticed that the place has been completely torn down. It made me rather sad that it's gone. But I'll never forget it.
How much do you remember from you first date with your current significant other?

I remember on our first date, we went walking around the mall so I could buy him a Christmas present he really liked. Then he took me to a really fancy Italian place called Carmine's. I had chicken parmesan and I'm not sure what he had but I know it included chicken. We shared some bruchetta and both drank iced teas. Afterward, we walked around outside some until we decided to go back to his place to watch National Treasure and cuddle. It was a great night.

Well more so then a first date I remember our weekend. Because I drove over to Seattle (about a five hour drive from me) with my dog Rascal. He was up visiting his cousin and planning to go to a job fair Seattle was having (cause he was getting out of the Air Force come January, this was July) and was planning to move in with his cousin and his wife for awhile.
So we met for the first time that way (in real life). I remember two things from that weekend...well more then two things, but we won't go into the other thing on here lol
We went to the Keg, which is a local chain, mostly in Canada. Where his cousin Brent came with us and he ordered a Lobster and called it Larry. After eating parts of it he'd put it back together and dance it around and walk it around. It was sooooo funny. lol
Then we went to see Something About Mary. So funny!! Those are the two things that stand out in my mind about that weekend.

That is really awesome. Sounds like it was really fun. And look at the two of you now! =) The lobster thing completely sounds like something that Doug would do. They can be so funny!
