i know it's a hard process to earn on mylot but it really shouldn't be all about the money. everyone that is on here yelling at mylot or complaining their earnings have decreased, you need to relax. people shouldn't get too upset over a few cents. some of the people complaining are also people who posted about how in the last few days it was going up for no reason and i didn't hear them complaining about fluxuating earnings then. this just annoys me, you should be happy your making something on here and no where does it say you make this much for this much work and it does state mylot can change earnings at anytime. so relax. please and stop getting angry with mylot

I completely agree with you! I wasn't able to be on here all day and so when I finally did get to start checking around, it seemed like all everyone was talking about was their earnings going down. And yes you're right there was just a lot of talk about earnings fluctuating a lot causing increases for some people but no one was hard on mylot's glitches and policies and system then.
Yes, I lost money today. Yes, it's a little frustrating. but only because I had a goal set for this month and now I doubt I'll make it since I have the exra to make up too. Is this mylot's fault? Of course not! If I'd been more motivated for the past 2 weeks I would have had twice as much as I have now and making my goal wouldn't have been an issue.

yes i also lost 12 cents and my goal for this month was $20, but now i might not make it unless i work hard today. but i'm not blamming mylot. i'm sure some of it has to do with the quality of our posts or the deleting of some posts. that's not mylot's fault that people come on here and don't follow the rules.

You are not going to assume that mylot is to blame, yet you assume that the users have done something wrong? Some of us have been here for a while, and know what we can or cannot do by now.
Usually when rules are updated they announce it, and everyone takes notice. I doubt each person who has lost any amount today did anything to go against the terms of service. Something is up and it is not right to blame other users who may not have done anything differently.

i'm not saying that all users are. i have notice people's posts have been deleted. some i've answered to. and for those days i lost some money because i had responded to someone else's post that was deleted. so that was not my fault nor the fault of everyone else who responded. i'm saying sometimes things get deleted and yes mylot deletes them but they are not to blame and the people who answered these posts and lost earnings are not to blame either.

I actually just started a discussion about my earnings. I came on and the amount was updated and then a few hours later they took away 0.54 cents. I know it's not much but it does take a while to get that. I must say that when I first logged on here it was for the money, I really had no idea what this site was about. I don't come on here just for that anymore, i am so addicted to this site, I like the people and i like the topics. Plus it's gonna take me a while to earn anyways and I am only gonna save it so when my boyfriend wants to order something online he can use the money I made on here, so it's not like it's for me..lol It just sucks cause I love comming on it the morning to see how much it went up, it's kinda exciting but then in an hour they just take it back.See what I mean.Anyways I messaged them and just asked if they could tell me why it went down. I wouldn't worry about 54 cents in my pocket but I guess it's just because It's cool to see what I had earned and then it was gone.

maybe they don't want bad rep or anything negative, hopefully mine doesn't dissapear. it's funny how you wouldn't worry about 50 cents in your pocket but here on mylot that seems like so much. but i see your point. it does take a while to get that much.

I think that you should understand that this is free money. You are not really doing anything to earn it so be happy with what you are getting. I like making money and I probably would not be here if there was not an incentive. However, I do enjoy this site. You are not going to get rich online but you can earn a little. I am gratefull for the pennies that I earn and hope it goes up but with so many people joining I am sure the money many go down. Again I can not stress enough you are doing nothing but chatting.

The point is general. I don't target personal. I did not say you were unhappy with your earning either. I think what I am saying is the same as you. You are doing nothing say thank you for what they give you. I however, do not think they should give you money and then take it away unless it was a mistake and then they should let you know what happened to your money and why. I hope this helps to clearify what I was trying to say.

I would not consider this site a job. It is a place to chat with people who have things in common with you. I am here off and on. My life doesn't revolve around this site and the pennies that you may earn.

Wow you and i are so close to 2000. Thats weird we are almost the same amount. I agree with you. Why stress over a few cents. Mylot takes away discussions and when they do people lose money. There is nothing you can do about it. Relax and have fun. Thats why we are here.

You are absolutely correct that it shouldn't be all about the money. The reason these people are complaining though is that they look at MyLot as an income opportunity only and many may not have another job. I am not defending MyLot nor am I defending the people who complain as I can see it from both angles. The greatest thing about MyLot though in my opinion is making new contacts and being able to customize our profile pages. This can help to promote our other businesses.

I don't have a job and I definetly don't look at mylot as an income. How in the world could you. When I told my boyfriend that I had earned $5.00, his respose was "well rent is due in two days, all you need to come up with is another $1125.00" lol, he makes me laugh. He was joking of course.

I really don't see the reason to complain either way. You are right though if something doens't affect people negtivly they don't complain. When I logged in this morning I made $.44 yesterday later on it dropped to $.22, Did I get upset no not really I just figured it was eaither a discussion I had responded to got deleted.
Then I saw other people saying theirs got deleted also by about 1/2. So I figure that it was a glitch that we got paid double for one day. There is no reason to be upset about a glitch.
I can understand somewhat that it said that thats what we got then they took it away. But look at it this way, if you were running a business and saw that you over paid someone, wouldn't you want to get that money back also?
I can understand that people have set goals for themselves. I set a goal myself, I am glad I have been able to hit that goal. But if it happened due to a glitch then it wasn't really money that had been earned anyway.

When something like that happens as in a resturant, the server ends up paying for that mistake in almost all cases. Thats's a single peson making the mistake not the company as a whole. I can understand your point, but I can also see it from myLot point of view as well. A mistake like this company wide could cause a lot of revenue to be lost. Some companies have gone under for a single mistake like that. I for one don't want to see myLot go anywhere so for them to correct a mistake on a wide scale I don't see the issue. With over 80,000 members them double paying everyone for a day could be catastrophic for them potentially. Lets say on average they over paid everyone $.25 for a day thats a loss of over $20,000. That's a lot more than one person not paying for a dessert in a restaurant. And not many businesses can take a $20,000 loss for what may have been a computer glitch.

Listen it is what it is. As long as you have a site which involves money there is going to be complaining screaming and crying. The problem with mylot is they dont show you what your exactly earning. And we just except it. There is not use complaining about it because your not going to get anyway. If no one likes it get out we aren not making anyone stay here.

This happens every month around the end of the month when mylot systematically goes through the discussions and removes those that are considered against their terms. If you responded to or started one of those discussions then you are going to lose the credit you earned by posting there. I've been here for 4 months and have never had a single penny taken away....people just have to be a little more choosy about the discussions they choose to respond to.

Well for one I post in Mylot for the community and company of others first and formost! What ever I get from Mylot will be saved in my Paypal account towards anything I should buy at Christmas over the net from the likes of Amazon.com, OK it wont be a lot! But every little helps, especially when you are on a low income to start with.

I am new here and I have a lot of fun. I read more than I write. I have a bit more than fifty cents in the bank. That is fine with me. I don`t know if you got paid better before.
I get a lot of useful information here, that is worth a lot. It is not just the pennies for the post.
Maybe I think different when I get more used to the system but for right now I am very happy with mylot and thank you all, you are so kind!

And what are most people bothering over, 10-20 cents? ;). Afraid they'll miss out on the big mac they would have earned after posting for 10 days? :P

I shared with this sentiment. It's really hard to understand anybody making a lot of complaints againts myLot within the discussions arena. I could not understand. Hey, myLot is the first and only stable paid-to-post site in the whole internet. Nobody is perfect, no system is 100% sure at all times, I think we have to understand if myLot site is experiencing some troubles sometimes.
The important thing here is that it is paying us of all our hard work. If we have some issues to settle, why not just directly email the admin -- I am sure the admin will give the time necessary to answer any legitimate inquiry.
Instead of complaining, let's give myLot a big THANK YOU for everything it has done to us today and in the coming years.

I am not at My Lot everyday so I forget what my earnings might have been, say 2 or 3 days ago. However if you want a few pretty fast extra pennies; I am in the midst of makeing a website just for that. I hope to have it up to-morrow and will come back with another post. Hopefully,at this Link.As to those who complain here about not makeing enough or whatever they should maybe consider the content of their posts. Is it worthwhile for someone to read? Was your response to a post pertinent or was it just a , yes or no, I agree type of reply? I skim thru a lot of posts that waste my time before I can find something that just might make me a dime. Or a nickel.A penny? Oh,well.Relax,write. Enjoy yourselves.

yes.. i agree with you.. i lost quite alot too.. but i didn't complain that much.. all i do is.. work harder.. i think what most important is to enjoy the process of earning money.. we get to meet new friends.. we get to post in new discussion.. and we get to help others to solve their problems.. isn't that fun? maybe not to you..but i think it's really fun doing so.. and i'm glad that many supported me by commenting in my replies.. haha =) .... you're right.. mylot is not stupid.. they did state that they can change the earnings anytime.. even if my $20 today become $1.. there's nothing i can do.. but i will quit mylot for sure if i lose $20+ .. haha :)

I was more surprised and upset than angry with mylt. Myearning dropped more than $1 yesterday, and that is an awful lot of money. I checked my discussions and they are all still there, so it wasn't that something I stared got deleted. I find it hard to believe I responded to 30-100 discussions that were also deleted.
I just want to know what happened and what I did wrong because it wasn't just a few cents, and nothing like that has ever happened before. It was really strange!
