How can I make my two-year-old eat?

Lately I've been having problems with my two-year-old son's appetite. He used to eat A LOT. Lately he's been sleeping more and eating less and less. He's quite active when he's awake but he just doesn't have the appetite to eat. I really wonder where he gets all his energy. I've tried everything I can think of, I buy all the foods he used to like which are basically fruits, fish and rice. I don't understand he used to love eating...please help me...
